M.G. Lewis letter to R. Peake, circa 1801.

Lewis writes to Sir, R. Peake Esq., Monday, circa 1801, about a lawsuit concerning illegal use of three of his plays and the judgment awarded. Peake worked at the Drury Lane Theatre, and Lewis transferred his loyalties from the Drury Lane to Covent Garden in 1801.
